The great finding of Mr. Burner- an incense burner tale

Hello!
I must say I am pretty excited to be doing this Blog. Sharing with you my random thoughts and purpose filled posts. Now I need to find some readers....todays exciting news is my great finds of yesterday!!

We have a thrift store in town, its called Noahs Arc. The money they get from purchases helps pay the staff, rent on the building, the general expenses of a store and the best part of all, they help ARC, another local organization for adults with disabilities. ARC Nassau primarily serves individuals with cerebral palsy, autism, spina bifida, Prader-Willi syndrome and varied mental disabilities. If you would like more information, here is the link http://arcnassau.org/.

Now for the cool stuff I picked up yesterday! First I have to tell you that I went up there for 1 item in particular, a handmade incense burner. I had been in there the week prior and looked at it but at the time, didnt really have an interest in it so, I left it on the shelf. I guess this thing had a spirit because it followed me home and I have thought about it all week!! I could not wait until Tuesday (one of my thrifting days) to go back and buy this poor lost soul and give it a new temporary home.

Upon entering the store, I got distracted by a few other items, of course, so it took me a few minutes to get to where I had left it the week before. As I approached the section of the shelf where I had placed it, my heart sank. It was gone! Then I realized, it had been a full 7 days since I was there last. Did I really think that something as marvelous as this muted dark colored handmade with love incense burner would still be there? YES!! I did, I had its soul so yes, I did expect it to be there waiting for me. I looked frantically, maybe it was moved to the plate section? When, it caught my eye, it sent me a signal (smoke of course), the sky opened, I heard angels and my eyes came to rest on my find of the week!

Love, Peace and Happiness~
